Jason came out to our property to help us with our 4 dogs. All very different with personality and issues so we needed help. Within minutes he had us and our pups running like a well oiled machine. Jason Harris is a true master of his craft. I went to him at the end of my rope with two much loved, yet very difficult to manage pooches for training. I was also in need of training, confidence building and knowledge. At the end of the session the difference for me and my dogs was truly incredible. I know the work has just begun and that we will have daily training and development etc, however I feel I can handle both of them better, understand them better and know I can reach out to Jason any time during this journey. Jason’s knowledge and expertise is second to none. He got our puppy Spud under control, socialised so he can get pats without jumping and misbehaving and he no longer bites !

Spud is happy and is a little gentleman with his halter and lead and we can now go for walks without any problems.

Friendly launches to say hi, but much too hard for me to control. Persistence training on a daily basis was the key, a lot of patience and a new head collar made all the difference. Getting the best out of your dog takes time, consistency and training and in my case also hands on professional help by Jason himself . Could not be happier with progress to date.

I have been working with Jason and his team since my dog Storm was 9 weeks old. Storm attended 1 hour puppy sessions every Saturday until he was fully vaccinated and able to participate in the puppy obedience program which ran for 5 weeks. Since then I have worked with Jason to ensure Storms training is on point for the type of dog and breed he is. A big strong German Shepherd. I cannot recommend Jason and his team enough. They are not only professional in their approach to training but they care for the dogs they work with and always ready to help owners understand how best to manage and help train their dogs. I’d been quoted by another dog trainer $2200 for a three week residential for my dog, Bailey, to learn the basics. 😧 Bailey and I spent less than 90 minutes with Jason and, yes, we need to keep practicing, but Bailey can sit, stay, walk on loose lead and come on command. Jason takes a sensible approach to training both dog and owner. I can’t recommend him high enough.

AMAZING TRAINER.

We had to go see Jason as our recently adopted Am Staff was showing STRONG dog reactivity. We couldn't get our dog to walk past a dog in the other side of the street without going off. We had a serious incident which required some serious intervention.

We took our 40kg boy down to Jason. Jason's manner and understanding of dogs, their behaviours and importantly their signs is incredible. This from spending years working directly with dogs throughout his career - see his CV.

We had a 90min session with Jason which was amazing. His techniques are amazing. By the end of the session our dog had approximately 8 exposures to other dogs. He was happily sitting near and walking with other dogs by the end of the session.

Jason reinforced that it takes commitment to your dog to maintain the focus and discipline. Most importantly our dog LOVED IT!!! Stimulation is so important!

So 2 days after the session I have just returned from an exposure walk with my new hound. He had 6 exposures and only one little hiccup which was addresses quickly and he self corrected then. Even did the old walk around the corner suprise straight into another dog about 2 metres away. 1 simple "leave it" command, he continued walking next to me. Not so much as a deviation of his walk line. AMAZING.

If your dog needs any sort of training. This is literally a lifestyle changer for us and our hairy child.

I made contact with Jason when my puppy was six months old. My puppy, Siggy, was very mouthy and had started jumping and nipping. Although he wasn’t aggressive, he was a very big puppy (around 25kilos) and my friends and family were frightened of him. I had stopped taking him outside the house because I didn’t feel I was able to control him.

I was feeling overwhelmed and miserable when my vet referred me to Jason. In a few sessions, Jason taught me some strategies which gave me the confidence to set boundaries with Siggy. He also reassured me that my puppy was not aggressive just very boisterous!

I also checked Siggy into Jason’s puppy dog daycare, an amazing experience which made me realise Siggy needed much more doggy stimulation!

The first time Louie met Jason, he was a 4 legged psychopath that was flipping and foaming at the mouth to get to other dogs. I remember Jason saying to me “this dog is one of the most reactive dogs I’ve ever seen, I don’t think I’m going to be able to help much”, I thought at that point, there was little hope for Louie… But boy was I wrong!

Through Jason’s commitment, hard work & patience, Louie has become a little gentlemen when around other dogs compared to what he was. Jason even had him amongst the big dogs at doggy day care (on both of which occasions I was in tears of joy).

Jason, I will be forever grateful for what you’ve done with Louie. Thanks to you, I am now confident taking my little ex-psychopath out in public! Don’t ever underestimate the skills you have because I have faith you can help the most psychopathic of dogs!

Jason’s dog training videos are the best I’ve ever seen - and I’ve watched many! They show the entire process AS IT REALLY HAPPENS, and this really opened my eyes to all sorts of details I had previously missed. I have a reactive Labrador Archie, whose leash reactivity has been an issue for many years now. I tried every method but nothing really penetrated his brain and changed his behaviour. He is an ideal dog otherwise and doesn’t even pull on leash, but when he saw another dog he’d go into a lunging growling frenzy that was very hard to control, and made me very nervous, too. I contacted Jason for a very long distance consultation - between UK and Australia!! - and based on his very sensible down to earth advice, walking Archie has become a pleasure again. When we see a dog, I don’t avoid it now. I just say LEAVE IT (sometimes preventively) and LET’s GO - and he looks at the dog and keeps walking, ON A LOOSE LEASH. No reaction. I learned from Jason to keep my voice calm and cheerful, and this really helps. THANK YOU JASON, your kind advice has taken all the stress out of having a reactive dog. Now I see every dog we meet as an opportunity to practice! To accomplish this with the advice of such a wise and experienced trainer so far away feels like a miracle!!
